The
Maine Quarter Horse Association (MeQHA)
Founded in 1970 and incorporated in 1973, the
Maine Quarter Horse Association is a non-profit 501 (c)(5)
organization dedicated to the promotion of the American Quarter
Horse within the State of Maine.
MeQHA has over three hundred members.
The organization's focus is geared to ALL disciplines and facets
of horse interests, recreational riding, speed events, showing,
dressage, to name a few.
Membership benefits include a
subscription to the Northeast Equine Journal (adult members only
- if joining before April 1st.) as well as receiving The Maine
'N Tale, MeQHA's official newsletter
via e-mail, online, or by U.S. Postal, dependent upon choice
indicated on membership form. Members will also receive one
free classified ad form in the Northeast Equine Journal worth
$15.00.
MeQHA offers clinics, trail
rides, AQHA pointed shows, Open Show awards, Scholarships for
in-state as well as out-of-state youth members, and year end
awards.
